User Case Study: Student grades improve after implementation of Maple T.A. at Shanghai Second Polytechnic University

Increasing class sizes and more options for finding answers to math questions online provided significant challenges to the faculty at the Shanghai Second Polytechnic University. More students meant more time and money spent on grading papers and better access to mathematics on the internet meant an increase in student cheating. The faculty and management were looking for ways to make their testing system more efficient when they were introduced to the testing and assessment tool, Maple T.A., from Maplesoft.


First in-process temperature profiling system for vacuum coating of CIGS photovoltaic panels

Cambridge, UK – Datapaq provides a dedicated temperature profiling solution for the manufacture of copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) photovoltaic panels. The new addition to Datapaq’s proven SolarPaq range is the first in-line solution for this vacuum coating process which until now has been very difficult and costly to measure. Employing an all-new thermal protection technology, the SolarPaq system takes measurements from the glass substrate as it passes through the multi-chamber coating process. The protective thermal barrier features a series of reflective surfaces and a central heat sink; this combination ensures continued consistent performance in vacuum applications while eliminating the possibility of outgassing into the process.


Integrated Mechanism- Easyswitch-R accredited by the Swedish National Railways

In 2010, Vossloh Cogifer won the tender call for the supply of Swedish National Railways (Trafikverket) with more than 7000 Integrated Actuation Mechanisms for Points and Crossings. In June 2013, these mechanisms, namely Easyswitch-R, were officially accredited. Currently, the application of the systems is under way.
