MORGAN TO SHOWCASE FIRE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS AT ISO 2014

An extensive range of fire protection and insulation solutions from Morgan Advanced Materials will be on booth 8/210 at ISO 2014, to be held at the Cologne Exhibition Centre in Germany from 8-9 May.

MORGAN TO SHOWCASE FIRE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS AT ISO 2014
Suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications, Morgan’s products which include; insulating blankets, expansion papers and felts are specifically engineered to offer excellent performance in high-temperature environments. A focal point of the stand will be the company’s Superwool® insulating fibre range offering low bio-persistent fibre products, in a variety of forms, all designed for high-temperature insulation applications. Visitors to ISO 2014 will be able to view Superwool® Plus Blankets, ideal for expansion joint construction, tube seal fabrication and thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as Superwool® Plus Blok, a lightweight and flexible fibre product which provides a 30% improved insulation value when compared with calcium silicate board - minimising heat loss and thereby saving energy.

Also on show will be FireMaster® Expanding Paper; a thin, flexible material that expands on heat exposure to provide thermal insulation to structures exposed to fire. The FireMaster range also includes a marine blanket for the protection of aluminium and steel bulkheads and decks. A lightweight, non-combustible blanket produced from a calcium-magnesium-silica raw material, FireMaster® Marine Plus Blanket produces no smoke or flame if exposed to fire and maintains good surface integrity and strength.

Thomas Schwarz of Morgan Advanced Materials commented: “With more than 8,000 visitors from over 34 countries, ISO 2014 promises to be an excellent opportunity to present our fire protection and insulation systems to a worldwide audience of engineers, architects and contractors. We will be attending with our most comprehensive range to date, offering solutions suitable for an array of industry sectors that protect assets, buildings and people.”

Also available to view on stand 8/210 will be a variety of thermal felt products which provide optimum building protection without emitting smoke, and FireMaster® Rigid Enclosure System which provides customised fire protection for individual pieces of equipment within the chemical process industry.

Thomas Schwarz added: “With the performance of fire protection solutions being so critical, many of our solutions are custom-built to suit customers’ individual requirements for each application. Visitors to ISO 2014 will be able to discuss their specific challenges with our staff on stand to identify the right solution for their needs.”
